The Shartz Fall Surf Classic is an elite surfing competition that features various surfing styles in an easy going, but competitive surf weekend. The competition is multi-faceted and features:

• Resisting Randall just enough so that nobody panics, but not resisting so much that nobody surfs

• Making it outside...this is the most challenging part of the competition

• Holding on tight when you go over the falls

• Not freaking out when Gallagher yells "we are all going to die" as a big set rolls in

• Drinking a beer that Hacksaw has waiting for you as you get back to the house

• Properly hanging up your wetsuit, with an elaborate electric fan in the shower, before you take a nap on the couch
